  Four months at Truth Fitness has changed my life - literally. I started working out at Truth Fitness with Rafael in early August, 2017 upon the recommendation of a friend. I had not worked out in over six years. To say I was out of shape and overweight are understatements. I had chronic health issues that had plagued me for years. I walked in the door for the first time with tremendous anxiety (and a fair amount of shame). By the end of our first session I was completely at ease and knew he was the right trainer for me. Throughout the last four months Rafael has consistently encouraged me to give myself grace, be patient with my body and he has celebrated my progress along the way (even when I couldn't see progress). He challenges me to do more than I think I can do while never pushing so far that I am at risk of injury or attempting to do things that are truly beyond what I am physically capable of doing. I undertook this journey because I wanted to live a healthier lifestyle while not being fixated on the numbers on the scale. The accountability of working out with him twice a week keeps me motivated to continue to exercise the rest of the week and has created a well-rounded mentality of living and eating healthy. The great news is I FEEL better than I have in years. I went from sleeping 3-4 hours a night to consistently sleeping 6-8. I have lost 35+ pounds (and dropped four sizes!) since walking in the doors of Truth Fitness. The improvement in my physical health has created incredibly benefits in my emotional life as well. If you are looking for someone to be your guide on the journey to holistic and healthy living - I highly recommend Rafael! Personal training is the best investment I have ever made in myself.
